Two of the three new models in Hiab's third-generation ePTO (electric power take-off) portfolio have their battery packs integrated into the crane base for easier installation and a more compact size. The HIAB wspr is available as an option in the HiPro product range for mid-range HIAB loading cranes .

Advantages of HIAB wspr

  • Emission-free: Better for people and the planet, meets stricter regulations.
  • Quiet: Enables work in low-emission or zero-emission zones and late at night.
  • Healthier working environment: Both for the operators and the residents in the area.
  • Powerful and precise: Delivers performance similar to diesel engines, but with better response time.
  • Flexible: Can operate from truck engine or ePTO.
  • Long operating time: The Standard model can work for 1-2 days, and the Heavy Duty model provides longer working time.
  • Compact design: The battery pack is built into the base of the crane, saving space on the truck frame.
  • Protects the forklift's battery: The HIAB wspr solution used on forklifts ensures maximum range and operating time.

The HIAB wspr is available in three models

  • Standard: Designed for the larger segment of the market, it is built on the basis of the crane and can work in 1-2 days for most applications.
  • Light Duty: Tailored to pick-up trucks, built into the crane base.
  • Heavy Duty: For customers who work long hours or need longer between charges. It is mounted on the chassis of the truck.

The HIAB wspr is guaranteed for two years and the battery cells for five years.

The Standard model can already be ordered worldwide, while the Light Duty and Heavy Duty models will be launched at the end of 2024.
